Dearest followers, I need your help.

There was a movie I watched about two years back and haven’t been able to find since.

I’m pretty sure it was Chinese, not set in modern times. It was a guy and some friends starting a business, which was sabotaged and burnt to the ground. Basically everything falls apart and his entire family disappears and he is blamed for the sabotage. When he is captured to be decapitated, at the last minute the executioner tells him to run. He reuinites with his daughter, who is a ghost that can only be seen in the light, like candlelight (or something like that), and there is someone after them. They get revenge and in the end he finds out that he really was decapitated then but the executioner freed his soul to complete his unfinished business.

I would be eternally grateful to anyone who could help me find it. I’m starting to think it was a figment of my imagination.
